This was the best workshop that this
district has provided. I think I am a positive person
but this workshop has provided me with valuable insight
that I can apply to myself, my students and co-workers.

This seminar was one of the most uplifting,
positive and insightful in-service days I’ve experienced.
The information you shared will also be shared with
my husband because “Free To Win” pertains
to School Life and personal goals. Thank You for a wonderful
in service! Bobbee Kennis |

Thank you so much for a wonderful day!
I feel that I learned so much that I can apply to my
teaching. The video’s discussion and activities
were all well done and very interesting. I consider
it high value. Linda Grundy |

I found the session valuable when reflecting
on my professional and personal life. The “SNIOP”
is something I will remember to use. It will be helpful
in my classroom! Jeremy Klosowski |

I felt that this was a valuable exercise
of self evaluation. When I first read the handout about
today’s seminar I felt that we as teachers were
being “punished” for not trying hard enough
to face change, deal with change, implement change.
Instead I was treated to an exploration of myself, my
interaction with others and possibilities for growth
and dare say it, “change”. That’s
an awesome experience! I have heard for years, “If
your mind can perceive it and your heart can believe
it then you can achieve it.” Now I have a toolkit
loaded with skills to move me through to a set of realistic
goals. Cynthia Holzapfel |

"the Free To Win message supported
taking responsibility for positive, future oriented
change. The need for such a message was precipitated
by a teacher culture suspended in focusing on labor
issues after recently settling a lengthy teacher negotiation
process. A need to re-focus on issues of teaching and
learning was important in being able to move in a more
positive direction. If we educators truly want to foster
optimism in these times of collective bargaining, high
expectations, high-stakes testing, and the challenge
of universal student success, we need to attend to the
professional culture of the school. Increasingly, research
has shown that the professional culture of an organization
is the single best predictor of success. Mindman successfully
engaged the skeptics and led them to consider taking
responsibility for your own attitude. It was very well
received by the teachers. The evaluations revealed the
program was relevant in meeting the needs of the teachers
in their struggle to be positive contributors to the
school..." Dr. Lyn Logelin |

"...Mindman grabbed the attention
and admiration of our staff with their “Free To
Win” program. 300 teachers, staff, aides, custodians
and all members of the school gained valuable techniques
from the “Winners Life Skills Toolbox” and
now realize their own ability to take charge of our
own school districts destiny." Mr. T Bell |
