Dr. Lyn Logelin from South Butler County School District, “the Free To Win message supported taking responsibility for positive, future oriented change. The need for such a message was precipitated by a teacher culture suspended in focusing on labor issues after recently settling a lengthy teacher negotiation process. A need to re-focus on issues of teaching and learning was important in being able to move in a more positive direction. If we educators truly want to foster optimism in these times of collective bargaining, high expectations, high-stakes testing, and the challenge of universal student success, we need to attend to the professional culture of the school. Increasingly, research has shown that the professional culture of an organization is the single best predictor of success. Mindman successfully engaged the skeptics and led them to consider taking responsibility for your own attitude. It was very well received by the teachers. The evaluations revealed the program was relevant in meeting the needs of the teachers in their struggle to be positive contributors to the school…”

…Jacques Kruger, MD of the tobacco giant formed by a merger of Rothmans International and BAT, swears by the Mindman programs' successes. Last year, a change strategy titled Winning in our World was initiated, aimed at stressing nine values. The first program in the strategy is Free to Win, which encourages psychological freedom and a winning approach to life. The program, attended by 1200 of the company's employees, dealt with topics such as the mindset of winning countries, winners in times of change, and a winner's life skills toolbox.

Mr. T Bell, Grove City Area School District, “…Mindman grabbed the attention and admiration of our staff with their “Free To Win” program. 300 teachers, staff, aides, custodians and all members of the school gained valuable techniques from the “Winners Life Skills Toolbox” and now realize their own ability to take charge of our own school districts destiny.”

Mr. Mark Ferrara, Neshannock School District, “lots of thought provoking useful ideas…definite long term opportunity for accepting responsibility which will ultimately lead to positive growth…”

Hennie Dippenaar, organization development manager at BAT, says as part of its transformation journey, the company has implemented some innovative training programs. A particularly powerful one called "Free to Win" encourages people to take responsibility for making things happen at work and in their personal lives instead of simply waiting for others to take action or blaming them for problems that occur.

Gina Walker, Schneider Downs, “…this was the best interactive session I’ve ever attended

Joy Conley Kacik, PSEA, “…judging from the evaluations received the impact Mindman made on teachers was immediate and profound.
